This was the best birthday ever, cooking with Karen. I asked for a Thai dinner and Karen delivered the cooking expertise and great teaching. And the best Thai food I’ve had.
 
Karen organized the event, the food the different prep stations and cooking. It was fun to do this with Karen and friends and me cooking a yummy birthday dinner. I would definitely recommend Karen as the chef for any kind of food you desire. She’s a professional and knows what she’s doing to make a great party or get together. I know you’ll be pleased. I am 100%.

My 12 year old daughter, who loves to bake, received "baking lessons with Karen" as a gift from her uncle.

Karen spent four hours with my daughter in our kitchen baking! We spoke to Karen ahead of time and discussed what my daughter liked, what she wanted to learn, and any baking requests she had. Karen came prepared, organized and ready to bake. My daughter really enjoyed the day, learned a lot and made really amazing desserts that we all enjoyed! It is obvious how experienced and knowledgeable Karen is in the kitchen.

I would highly recommend working with Karen for all your baking and cooking needs!

Fantastic service. Great food! This was an anniversary present for my folks who can no longer get to a nice restaurant. The chef went and met with my folks and made to order anniversary present. It was such a fair price, she only spent half the money my siblings and I chipped in. When my parents were ready she cooked up the rest. Came to numerous, wonderful meals for my parents when ever they wanted. They were really great full for the great meals and extra meals so they would not have to cook. Chef will make just about anything you want and makes gourmet specialty foods. We were very great full and without a doubt would use the service again. The chef kept me up to date on communications with my folks and all was great. Hard to satisfy parents, were satisfied and found the chef very friendly. Great experience!

Karen taught a cooking class for a group of 10 friends. She worked closely with me ahead of time, so that everyone knew what to bring and what to expect. She covered so many basic cooking techniques as we made 4 main dishes (knife skills, sauteeing vs poaching, braising, searing, making a buerre blanc and a red wine reduction sauce, so many things!). Throughout the afternoon, we all kept saying "Now I know what I've been doing wrong!" She arrived at the house as expected, allowing her plenty of time to setup and prepare for our arrival. She had all the food, directions and necessary equipment. She was patient with all our questions, and cheerfully went off agenda based on our questions. She was calm, cool and collected, and very organized, as 10 of us moved around the kitchen (imagine "herding cats"), all wanting to try each technique. At the end, we had this amazing dinner, and we were so proud of ourselves! Thank you, Karen! Everyone wants to do it again -- you know we're going to call you back!

My cousin, in Tucson, loves pineapple upside down cake! I contacted Thumbtack, who placed me in contact with Karen, Owner of At Your Service in Tucson. We arranged delivery of a huge pineapple upside down cake for a very reasonable price. My cousin was ecstatic. Great job!.

I live in Florida and was looking for a gift for my Dad and his wife who live in Tucson Arizona. Chef Karen responded to my inquiry on Thumbtack. We had a couple of email contacts back and forth. I then spoke with her on the phone to discover she was exactly what I was looking for. And that was someone to do a private in home dinner for my Dad and his wife , who are in their 70’s. I put chef Karen in touch with them to nail down the menu. She was willing to cater to their wants needs and desires. Chef Karen kept me updated through the whole process from the initial contact to the menu and even after the event.
